I said last month that I had high hopes for April weather-wise after the quite frankly dismal February and March we’ve had. I’m pleased to say that it didn’t disappoint, although that was largely thanks to me being at the other end of the country for the best week of the month. It always amazes me the temperature difference a mere 300 odd miles away, but spending the week in Eastbourne for work was like being on the French Rivera. Needless to say I used the opportunity to spruce up my work wardrobe and dress a bit more summery.
Throw into the mix the fact that I decided to change my hair from blonde to ginger (ahem sorry, rose gold). So there’s been a lot of monotone and autumnal colours (isn’t it ironic, don’t you think?) on Newman’s Closet this month as I experiment with what shades compliment my new barnet:
