After some promising weather in February and March and checking back through some of my insta stories from last April and seeing that it was the month when our amazing summer started, I had high hopes for April this year. Sadly though, the only good weather was over Easter weekend and was the jam in the grey, dreary, cold sandwich that was the rest of the month.
I’ll readily admit I’m a summer baby and get stroppy around February if it doesn’t look like it’s starting to warm up again. So not only am I a summer baby, I’m also hugely impatient.
There was the obligatory trip to Eastbourne, which I’m doing a lot of at the moment. It never ceases to amaze me how its always at least 5 degrees warmer down on the sunshine coast, so at least that gives me hope the noth east will catch up soon too. I also had loads of fun times with friends and family so was a great opportunity, instead of buying loads of new stuff like I normally do when the seasons change, to delve into the deepest depths of my wardrobe and try and wear some stuff I haven’t worn in ages. Including a skirt from Kookai which I bought in 2004 (read more about the story of that skirt on my instagram today!)
